HOW TO CHOOSE A SNOOKERCUE

Posted by Edwin Depoorter on

Offering players the opportunity to try out different cues and determine their preferred deflection degree has several advantages:

1. Personalized Experience: Every player has their own unique playing style and preferences. By allowing them to test different cues, they can find the one that suits their playing style, grip, stance, and stroke the best. This personalized experience can greatly enhance their performance on the table.

2. Finding the Right Deflection: Deflection refers to how much the cue ball deviates from its natural path when struck with side spin. Finding the right deflection degree is crucial for players, as it affects their ability to control the cue ball and make accurate shots. By testing different cues with varying deflection degrees, players can identify the level of deflection that works best for them.

3. Comfort and Confidence: Playing with a cue that feels comfortable and provides confidence is essential for any player. By trying out different cues, players can assess factors such as weight, length, balance, and grip, allowing them to find a cue that feels natural and comfortable in their hands. This can significantly enhance their overall playing experience.

4. Performance Improvement: A cue that is well-suited to a player's individual style and preferences can lead to improved performance on the table. It can help players achieve better cue ball control, accuracy, and consistency in their shots. This, in turn, can contribute to overall skill development and success in the game.

5. Avoiding Regretful Purchases: By testing cues before making a purchase, players can avoid the disappointment of buying a cue that doesn't suit them. It eliminates the risk of investing in a cue that they may not be able to adapt to or enjoy playing with. Instead, they can make an informed decision based on their own experience and preferences.

Overall, offering players the opportunity to try out different cues and determine their preferred deflection degree allows them to have a more personalized and enjoyable playing experience while also improving their performance on the table.

I have a lot of cues in stock about 100 in different models, length, weight, deflection and so on. I believe every player has his own deflection degree when he/she attempts a pot with or without fractions of side on the cue ball. The way to go about it is we make an appointment and I bring 50/60 cues in the required length and we do specific tests on certain pots with every cue or the cues the client prefers model wise. After 3 deliberations you will find your cue that fits you best. If you are interested in testing this method before deciding to buy your cue contact me.
